Head of Panwaslu Pasaman Barat Elvi Sukaisih said here on thursday installation stickers on private vehicles and public are not stipulated in the campaign.
"As long as there are no clear rules, it must be allowed," he said.
According to him, the rules about mounting a campaign props as defined in the regulations of the General Election Commission (KPU) only on the highway, in the trees, and power lines and telephone poles.
Installation of campaign props, both stickers and banners in the trees, in accordance with the provisions is prohibited. Similarly, on the edge of the highway entering certain zones ban campaign.
Props also barred campaign mounted on a lamppost and telephone pole, and thus also in the area of educational institutions and places of worship.
"In the vehicle, both cars, motorcycles or tricycles, we did not find any prohibition. At the helm is like that," he said.
He said Panwaslu can not act to curb in a number of motor vehicles that are known to install props campaign, both political parties and campaign props for candidates participating in the election.
